Today I’m going to be talking about something a little bit different, lifestyle. I’ve been actively trying to live a healthy lifestyle, yes trying because I’m not fully there yet, but I will be. Unfortunately, these changes don’t happen over night, they take time, trial and error. These are a few things Iv’e learned and have come to realize throughout my journey. Hope you enjoy.

Tips for Living a Healthy Lifestyle

Positivity

If your start your day on a positive note it’s likely you will meet your daily goals.

Drop the scale

Weigh yourself once a month. Weight varies due to various components and you will get frustrated if you notice that you dropped a pound today and gained it back tomorrow.

Sleep

You need about 7-8hrs of sleep when you are working out to give your body time to recover, don’t neglect it and always listen to your body.

Mindset

Your MIND, is the most important thing. Thinking about failing? You probably will because you already set yourself up for failure. DON’T DO IT. YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO.

Track your food (because you can’t out run a bad diet)

Enough said, because we all love to eat the wrong things. If only we tracked our meals just like we track our progress.

Trust the Process

It takes at least 4 weeks to really see a difference in your body so be patient, results will come.

Guilt Free Zone

Don’t beat your self up because you had a donut, a few slices of pizza or a burger. You basically need to have them for your soul.  A cheat meal won’t set your progress back, a few meals will. Missed a workout session? It’s okay, kill it the next time you go. Like I said, It’s okay.

Living a Healthy Lifestyle is NOT a DIET

IT’S NOT A DIET. You will easily jump off the wagon if you eat lettuce everyday. It’s not about that, it’s about making smarter choices for your health.

Kick the excuses

The only one making excuses is you, no one is to blame but you. You control your decisions and life choices at the end of the day.

Have a Happy Day

If you start to feel unmotivated, have that cheat meal you’ve been wanting. Go the movies, get your nails done, do whatever you feel you need to do to feel happy and motivated.
